Stone Age

School Workshops

Adventurous Stone age visits!

Invite a real Stone Age person into your classroom with a Stone Age Prehistoric WOW day with Marvellous History. Hands-on activities, role play, drama, artifact handling and games teach children about life in the Stone Age. Become a hunter-gatherer or discover the new idea of “farming”, migrate following the herd or perhaps build a settlement. Perhaps you’ll even hear about this new stuff called “bronze”. Children will become part of the oral tradition of storytelling learning how meaningful it might have been in a time before books, and perhaps even telling their own stories. Make rock art to record your history, handle stone tools and fossils, defend your hill fort, or even take part in a tribal war!
