Anglo Saxon School Workshops

Amazing Anglo Saxon Adventures!

Meet a “real” Anglo Saxon with a hands-on Anglo Saxon workshop from Marvellous History. Interactive activities, drama, role play, and crafts help children understand the invasion and settlement of Britain after the Romans left, the birth of England and the struggle against the Vikings and Normans. Whether fending off Viking raids, farming in your “toft” or preparing to go into battle at Hastings, children will learn how the Anglo Saxons shaped the country we now live in. Handle replica artifacts, discover the Anglo Saxon Gods and decide whether to convert to Christianity, find out about food and clothing and take part in stories of Anglo Saxon heroes like Beowulf.
